SOCAR President receives Iranian Minister
On 7 November, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev received Iranian delegation led by Mahmoud Vaezi, Co-Chair of the Iranian-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission and Minister of Communications and Information Technology.
Welcoming the guests, Mr. Abdullayev noted intensifying dialogue on developing the cooperation between SOCAR and Iranian companies on oil and gas sector and importance of reciprocal visits in this process.
Co-chair of the Iranian-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi expressed confidence that the forthcoming visit of President Hassan Rouhani to Azerbaijan will be an important step towards developing relations between the two countries.
Mr. Vaezi hailed the cooperation between the two countries in oil and gas fields and pointed out the huge potential for future expansion of this interaction.
