Pipeline engineering specialist SRJ Technologies has entered a partnership with EnerMech to enable faster delivery of a more comprehensive suite of asset integrity products to EnerMech’s Australian clients.

SRJ Technologies’ range of weld-free products for pipe repair and replacement offer both permanent and temporary solutions that are safer, faster, smarter and cost effective.

The company offers a range of asset integrity solutions including Emergency Pipeline Repair Systems that mitigate loss of containment issues such as costly downtime, threats to safety and potential environmental damage.

EnerMech is a global mechanical, electrical and instrumentation specialist employing 3500 people and is focused on the oil and gas, LNG, infrastructure, power and petrochemical sectors. In Australia, EnerMech is represented in seven locations around the country.

EnerMech Technical Director Colin G. Smith said: “SRJ’s asset integrity solutions are an excellent strategic fit for EnerMech's core markets and will help to strengthen our client service offering by delivering quality solutions that are cost effective and minimise downtime.

“SRJ solutions also address client-led demands surrounding risk mitigation in health and safety, fugitive emissions, cost efficiencies and local content requirements. We are delighted to be working with the company to provide our clients with a superior service offering.”

The deal will also include local manufacturing capabilities around the country, including Perth-based precision engineering company SixDe, which is part of the Nexxis Group.

SRJ Technologies Chairman Roger Smith said: “With trusted manufacturing partners based in key strategic locations throughout Australia, SRJ Technologies will ensure a consistent and timely supply of product to EnerMech's clients.

“With access to the rapid prototyping facility at SixDe and its local manufacturing facilities, we will look to shorten lead times that are currently frustrating the industry. We look forward to providing proactive industry solutions to EnerMech’s clients.”

SRJ Technologies CEO Alexander Wood said EnerMech had longstanding relationships with the major operators of all LNG developments in Australia where it has provided a full suite of work scopes including construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning, shutdowns and maintenance. “Australia’s current onshore LNG construction activities are transitioning into the operations and maintenance phase which will drive demand for SRJ’s asset integrity solutions,” Mr Wood said.
