Global Pipeline Award submission still open
It has been announced that the submission period for the ASME Global Pipeline Award (GPA) is open until 15th August, 2013.
This award was established by the Pipeline Systems Division (PSD) of the International Petroleum Technology Institute (IPTI) of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers International (ASME). The Global Pipeline Award is presented each year to, in the opinion of the judging committee, the organisation that has been responsible for the most outstanding achievement in the field of Pipeline Transportation for the year. Other criteria include outstanding innovations and technological advances in the field of pipeline transportation.
Previous winners
Past years’ winners have included: PetroChina Pipeline Company (2012), Liderroll (2011), Technip (2010), DNV (2009), TransCanada (2008), CPTI/PUC-RIO (2007), Petrobras (2006), TransCanada (2005).

Rio Pipeline 2013
The award will be presented at the Rio Pipeline Conference 2013, taking place at the SulAmérica Convention Center, Rio de Janeiro on 24 - 26 September.
