Changes made to Plains All American’s senior management team

Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. and Plains GP Holdings today announced changes to PAA's senior management team in connection with its long-term succession plans.

Effective 1 May 2018, Jeremy Goebel, currently Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Acquisitions, will take on the new role of Senior Group Vice President, Commercial. Mr. Goebel will report directly to Harry Pefanis, President and Chief Commercial Officer, and will ultimately assume increasing responsibilities with respect to PAA's commercial activities. Also effective 1 May 2018, Chris R. Chandler will join Plains All American as Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Acquisitions.

"We are excited for Jeremy to assume additional commercial responsibilities within the Partnership and for Chris to join Plains," stated Willie Chiang, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Plains All American Pipeline. "These appointments are part of our succession planning process designed to broaden and deepen our leadership team. Jeremy has played a critical role in strategic planning, fundamental and commercial analysis, acquisitions and divestitures, and developing strategic customer relationships. We are excited for Jeremy to be able to increase his focus and responsibility in our commercial activities. Chris will complement our team with demonstrated leadership, operations, commercial and strategic experience within the midstream and downstream sectors. Chris, Jeremy, Harry and I will all be working closely to ensure a smooth transition over the next several months."

Mr. Goebel has been with Plains All American for five years in roles of increasing responsibility, from Managing Director, Mergers, Acquisitions and Business Development to his most recent role as Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Acquisitions. Previously, Jeremy worked in the corporate finance advisory practice at Simmons and Company, as a Director of Operations for Authentix, and in engineering and business management within Chevron's downstream operations. Mr. Goebel has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana State University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mr. Chandler has over 20 years of energy industry experience with Phillips 66, where he served most recently as General Manager of Corporate Strategy. Previously, Chris served as General Manager, Midstream Commercial and Business Development; General Manager, Natural Gas Liquids; Refinery Manager of the Los Angeles Refinery; Refinery Manager of the Alliance Refinery near New Orleans, Louisiana and Manager of competitive analysis in Houston. Mr. Chandler began his career working in roles of increasing responsibility within refinery operations. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
