AFT announces 2022 Platinum Pipe Award winners

Applied Flow Technology (AFT) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2022 Platinum Pipe Award (PPA) contest. This annual contest recognising excellence in piping and ducting system modelling using AFT software. The PPA entries allow AFT to visualise how their software products are used in industries around the world. They help AFT demonstrate the software and how it can be applied in diverse situations and piping systems.
The AFT PPA contest accepts entries each year until 31 October. Engineers are welcome to provide a high-level overview of their projects, while leaving out any proprietary information such as project names, locations, and client details. AFT is interested in model details only as they pertain to how the engineer utilised AFT software to determine solutions for optimal design, safety, and efficiency.
- Most Interesting Model winner: Samarth Pawar, Kalpesh Birla, & Gaurav Bhende, Protton Synergy Private Limited, Mumbai, India.
- Test/Data Correlation winner: Swapnil Paingankar & Manish Bohara, Ingenero Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., Thane, India.
- Operational Benefits winner: Chris Bibby, WOOD, PLC, Calgary, Canada.
- Most Interesting Model honourable mention: Sumit Sayankar, L&T Technology Services, India.
