Nabucco Consortium announces steel pipe producers pre-qualification tender launch
Nabucco Gas Pipeline International GmbH has announced the launch of the pre-qualification process for steel pipe producers for its 1320 km, 48 in. diameter gas pipeline.
The announcement requests potential suppliers to apply for the pre-qualification phase.
Pre-qualification precedes the launch of a tender and allows highly complex projects such as Nabucco to identify suppliers meeting the project’s needs. Interested suppliers are requested to visit the following link for more information:

The launch of this pre-qualification process is yet another step towards ensuring that Nabucco is ready to meet the gas delivery schedules of the Shah Deniz Consortium. The project, which is now in its advanced stage of development, recently announced the commencement of engineering design works for the 48 in. diameter pipeline with Saipem.
