Elliott Smith has joined Voith Turbo's Power, Oil & Gas Division as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy. Smith will be based at the recently opened office in Houston's energy corridor.
"Elliott's leadership and experience in business development will be valuable assets as we look to expand our footprint in the oil and gas market," said Ron Wilson, President Americas of the Power, Oil & Gas Division. "Innovation is key to Voith Turbo's growth, and his work leading new product development initiatives in the Americas will allow us to support our oil and gas customers. I want to give a warm welcome to Elliott as he joins our Houston office."
The company's new Houston office includes a business development and research centre focused on problem solving and product development. As Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, Smith will work with the research and development and sales teams to drive innovation in the oil and gas sector.

NiSource Inc. has announced that on 3 July 2015 its Board of Directors elected Kevin T. Kabat to the Board. He will also serve on the Board's Audit and Finance committees.
Kabat currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Fifth Third Bancorp, a position he has held since April 2007, and Vice Chairman. Before becoming CEO, he served as President since 2006 after leading both retail and affiliate banking. He was previously Vice Chairman and President of Old Kent Bank, which was acquired by Fifth Third Bancorp in 2001.
