Leading UK drilling and pipeline specialist, Stockton Group, has unveiled a major strategic restructure designed to sharpen its market positioning, strengthen brand clarity and support continued growth across the UK’s infrastructure and energy sectors.

The company seen impressive growth in the last financial year, increasing turnover from £10 million (FY2024) to £25 million (FY2025).
With more than two decades of experience delivering complex projects, Stockton has built a strong reputation as one of the UK’s leading independent specialists in trenchless drilling and the only UK business to offer Direct Pipe®, an innovative, low-impact method for installing pipelines beneath challenging terrain.
The newly unified Stockton Group structure brings together its three technical divisions - drilling, pipelines and civils - under one unified group. The firm is headquartered in Wakefield, Yorkshire, and operates across the UK.
The move reflects the company’s evolution from a specialist Horizontal Directional Drilling contractor into a multi-disciplinary engineering partner capable of delivering integrated, end-to-end solutions, at a time when demand for low-impact installations and network upgrades continues to grow.
The restructure comes alongside a refreshed brand identity and a new website, marking a significant step forward in how the business presents its expertise and full-service offering to clients and stakeholders across the UK. The move will allow the Group to secure a greater role in early-stage planning, design and engineering on new projects.
The rebrand and new website is the result of Stockton Group’s investment in a marketing refresh with strategic partner, Fantastic Media to better reflect the firm’s broader capability and support future growth across national infrastructure programmes.
Stockton’s expert team works on major projects across the UK including those for Britvic Soft Drinks, Leeds Beckett University, and Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Ltd.
Speaking of the rebrand, managing director, Fiona O’Connell, said: “I am proud to introduce the new Stockton Group. By bringing our core three divisions together we can present a clearer, more consistent offer to our clients, whether they’ve worked with us for years or are just discovering us. “Our clients are asking for more integrated delivery and earlier technical input into their projects, not just specialist drilling support. Aligning our teams in one structure means we can take greater responsibility across the lifecycle of a project, improving transparency, clarity and efficiency across the board.
“This change is not just about how we present ourselves externally, it's about ensuring we are prepared to support the UK’s next wave of infrastructure investment by combining the experience, capability and insight of our whole business to deliver meaningful and lasting value for our clients.
“From feasibility to delivery, we turn complex challenges into problems solved, delivering results that reduce risk, protect people, care for the environment and provide lasting value for our clients.”
