Technical Toolboxes appoints new Chief Technology Officer

Based in Houston, Lafleur will lead and manage the company’s team of technical experts. He will focus on company strategy for identifying and prioritising development initiatives, selecting technologies and methodologies to employ and setting timetables for the evaluation, development and deployment of all of Technical Toolboxes’ technology applications and technical training courses.

Martin Fingerhut, CEO, Technical Toolboxes, said, “Drew has been an important part of the management team since joining us in 2017 and has been employing valuable company-wide strategies for improved efficiency and communication. Lafleur acquired more than a decade’s worth of experience in a range of engineering roles within ConocoPhillips, working in locations across the continental US. Before joining Technical Toolboxes, Lafleur served as Director of Upstream Solutions for TeQnovation.

He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both petroleum engineering and biological science, gained at Louisiana State University, and is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Professional Petroleum Data Management (PPDM) Association.
