Trans Mountain makes changes to its board

Trans Mountain Corporation has announced the appointment of Sandra Stash to its Board of Directors. Ms. Stash joined effective 31 December 2019. Lorraine Mitchelmore will step down from Trans Mountain’s Board at the end of the year to join the Board of Suncor.

“I consider myself fortunate to have worked with Lorraine. She has played a pivotal role in guiding the Company through the many changes of the past year,” said Ian Anderson, President and CEO of Trans Mountain Corporation.”

“On behalf of the Board, management, and staff, I would like thank Lorraine for her leadership and wish her all the best in her future endeavours,” said William Downe, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Trans Mountain Corporation. “We look forward to working with Sandra in the new year.”

Ms. Stash, a Petroleum Engineer, has more than 35 years of international executive leadership and board experience. Her career includes leadership positions in business management, engineering, operations, HSE, project management and the global oversight of large functional organisations in the oil and gas sector, manufacturing, and mining industries. Through direct oversight of several very public and controversial natural resource, public health, community and environmental issues in these sectors, Sandra is recognised for her unique capabilities in bridging the extractive sector to external stakeholders – in government, civil society and at community level.
