Asset Guardian Solutions Limited (AGSL) today announced substantial growth and business momentum for the Asset Guardian solution, after a continued string of successful customer wins throughout global industries, with newly formed solution partnerships and employee growth.
AGSL has experienced substantial customer demand for Asset Guardian as the new growth and investment strategy focuses on meeting the global demand for effective Cybersecurity Management and Compliance. Worldwide spending on cybersecurity management is expected to reach in excess of US$133.7 billion by 2022, with Operational Technology (OT) being a prime target. Governments and Regulators are placing high pressure on operators to effectively manage these threats as a result.
Many operators are choosing Asset Guardian to act as their cyber risk management framework to meet regulatory requirements, whilst embracing the Asset Guardian core features around key areas, including:
- Software repository and version control.
- Compliance management.
- Configuration change management.
- Disaster recovery.
- Obsolescence management.
Changes have been made to the company’s leadership team to help drive the corporate growth strategy. Tina Steele has been appointed as AGSL’s Business Strategy Manager. Tina brings with her five years’ experience as AGSL’s Marketing Manager and has recently completed an MSc in Digital Marketing Leadership from the University of Aberdeen. Going forward, Tina will be responsible for leading the corporate strategy in line with the company’s vision, values and core business objectives.
Blaire McLeod has been appointed as AGSL’s Information Security Manager. Blaire has been with the company for four years, and brings experience as a formal Technical Consultant, with experience in designing new products and features around Asset Guardian. Blaire holds a BSc with Honours in Computer Science from the University of Dundee and will guide the company’s Information Security strategy to achieving ISO/IEC 27001 accreditation, ensuring it becomes an integral part of the company culture.
As part of the company’s growth strategy, it has been more important than ever to understand what is driving customer demands, and how to adapt to shifting requirements due to COVID-19. With consumer brand relationships changing as a result, AGSL is focused on demonstrating value and building trust with its customers in a new environment that relies so heavily on digital technology. Equally, ensuring the well-being of AGSL employees has become an integral part of AGSL’s company culture. All employees are adapting to remote working from home, and with the evolution of technology, this has been made possible.
AGSL have recently become a Corporate Partner for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH), and together have developed an employee well-being programme that includes mental health training, well-being initiatives, and fundraising events for all AGSL employees to be involved in. Supporting mental health well-being remains a priority within AGSL.
“It’s been an exciting and trying couple of years for all of the team here at AGSL and everyone has responded to our new challenges with enthusiasm and professionalism. The outcome of the enforced changes due to COVID and the structural changes is a more balanced team with exciting new initiatives for both our work and personal time leading to an organisation that we are all proud to be part of and one which is benefiting from increased growth and respect, both of which will carry us through the next exciting chapter in the development of AGSL.” – Ewan McAllister, Managing Director at AGSL.
“We have been very fortunate to be able to continue all our operations using remote working, and have even succeeded in surpassing our growth forecasts over the period. This is testament to the hard work and dedication from all in our team, and as well as reorganising, we are significantly expanding our team so we can continue to deliver excellent service to our expanding customer base.” – Iain Rennie, Operations Director at AGSL.
