Atlantic Council to host Regional Clean Energy Outlook Conference

The Atlantic Council, in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, will host the 2022 Regional Clean Energy Outlook Conference: Advancing Climate and Security Goals on 10 - 11 October in Istanbul at the Hilton Bomonti.

The two-day conference, organised by the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center and the Atlantic Council in Turkey, will gather top government, business, and thought leaders to discuss the next steps in the world’s clean energy transition.

Featured speakers include Geoffrey Pyatt, Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources at the US State Department, and Alparslan Bayraktar, Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources.

This conference will serve as a platform for discussions of the regulatory changes, financing mechanisms, and the technologies necessary to drive the energy transition while improving security and resilience of the energy systems. Participants will brainstorm ideas on how to expedite the adoption and deployment of clean energy technologies and sustainability solutions, including efforts toward the circular economy.
