World Pipelines,
Transneft Diascan and Transneft have received two Eurasian invention patents. After the legalisation is finished the exclusive rights to inventions will be valid for 20 years in the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and the other countries of the Eurasian Patent Convention.
The following patents confirm exclusive rights to the following technical solutions:
Ultrasonic Defectoscope Sensors Carrier, a configuration of a carrier of an ultrasonic defectoscope’s sensors which are used for detecting flaws in small-diameter pipelines. It increases the accuracy of diagnostic information obtained by running a pipeline inspection gadget (PIG) through a pipeline due to a higher density of ultrasonic sensors on the carrier. Apart from that, this technical solution enhances the sensor carrier’s flexibility when the flaw detector is in motion and enables the PIG to pass turns of small-radius pipelines.
Circumferential Magnetisation Magnetic System for an Inline Defectoscope, that creates a system minimising defect identification error due to reduced reciprocal influence of the principal belts of magnetic modules and improved uniformity of magnetic field distribution in the axial and circumferential directions.
Transneft Diascan is a hi-tech science-based enterprise with sophisticated scientific and technical base and high innovative potential. To date, Transneft Diascan owns more than 140 patents, including exclusive rights for utility and invention (including foreign ones), certificates for computer software and databases.
Transneft Diascan is the largest Russian supplier of technical inspection services in respect of pipelines and tanks with more than 25 years’ experience and expertise in the market. The enterprise owns a large fleet of modern in-line inspection devices from 6 - 48 in. diameter, which ensures precise evaluation of technical condition of pipeline transportation facilities. The average annual amount of inline inspection carried out by Transneft Diascan is about 60 000 km of pipelines. Since 1991 Transneft Diascan has examined over 1 million km of pipelines. Transneft Diascan serves customers in 12 countries and employs over 2000 highly-skilled professionals worldwide. In 2017, Transneft Diascan inspected over 4200 km of pipelines abroad using special equipment designed and manufactured by Transneft Diascan.
