DENSO expands its sales team

DENSO Group Germany has grown its Latin American business by hiring Ana Cervantes as Technical Sales Manager. She brings over 25 years of extensive consulting and sales experience in the pipeline business. Located in California, US, close to the regional markets, Cervantes is now responsible for all client business in the area.
The pipeline markets in South America, the Middle East and Africa are in highly dynamic development. Only last month DENSO won over two industry experts as Sales Managers. With this additional position, the company aims at the growing markets in Latin America. Cervantes will acquire new customers and strengthen existing relationships with her comprehensive technical advice.
“We are very happy to welcome Ana Cervantes to our team. With her focus on Latin America and her proven expertise, she is the ideal person for the job,” said Max Wedekind, Managing Director. Cervantes is Head of the Mexican Delegation of the ISO subcommittee for pipeline systems where she is in charge of standardisation and its implementation in the field of corrosion protection.
Before joining DENSO, Cervantes was Technical Consultant and Sales Director responsible for the Latin American region at Polyguard, Seal for Life and Berry Plastics. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees – one in Chemical Engineering and one in Electronic & Communication Engineering. She has perfect knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese and English.
