World Pipelines,

Zetec Inc. will host a one hour webinar on the latest phased array ultrasound technology (UT) and how it can easily scale to meet changing oil and gas operational and inspection needs, while delivering fast and accurate non-destructive testing (NDT) results.

The webinar will be offered in two sessions:

  • Wednesday 5 September, at 10 a.m. PDT.
  • Thursday 6 September, at 7 a.m. PDT.

A question and answer period will follow the webinar. A recorded version will be available for later viewing.

Ultrasonic testing is the leading technology for critical oil and gas applications, including the inspection of welds, which can be complex and expensive; and corrosion, which can be time consuming to complete. The webinar will address these common inspection applications and introduce a portable yet affordable platform that can easily scale as needs change to handle all of these, including:

  • An easy-to-use solution for the inspection of boiler tubes.
  • A flexible solution for the inspection of long seam welds.
  • An efficient solution for corrosion mapping that removes inspection uncertainty.

This webinar will feature the TOPAZ16 portable integrated phased array UT instrument with powerful software and a range of accessories that can meet the ever-changing inspection needs in the oil and gas industry, while still offering advanced capabilities necessary to conduct challenging inspections.

Registration is currently open. For information, visit the Zetec website.
