Clock Spring acquires Citadel

Clock Spring Company, Inc. (Clock Spring), the world’s leading manufacturer of permanent and temporary composite pipeline and pipe work repair solutions, has announced the acquisition of Citadel Technologies (Citadel), a prominent manufacturer of engineered, carbon fibre composite repairs for 20 years.

“Clock Spring has tremendous respect for Citadel and its team,” says Clock Spring CEO and President Matt Boucher. “Aligning our strengths and combining our complementary product lines enables us to offer customers the industry’s most complete and comprehensive suite of composite repair solutions and expands our mutual capability to address asset integrity issues for transmission pipelines and high consequence process piping.”

Citadel’s market-leading carbon fibre solutions, including DiamondWrap® products for high consequence, process piping deliver repairs in the oil and gas industry’s most exacting environments. These products, in combination with Clock Spring’s established suite of midstream products. produces an offering supported by a new company that is even stronger and more capable than the sum of its parts.
