TWI and Lloyd’s Register launch safety skills training programme

A newly agreed collaboration is underway to boost the vocational skills and safety of more than 4000 workers in South East Asia and India. The two-year South East Asia Skills Enhancement Programme (SEASEP), launched by TWI and the Lloyd’s Register Foundation, will upskill workers from under-represented communities with accredited safety-related training, reducing the risk of occupational fatality and improving the integrity of construction and engineering infrastructure projects in areas of rapid growth. Workers joining the training programme will be given a bursary funded by the Lloyd’s Register Foundation and TWI.
