Pony Express announces second open season

World Pipelines,

Tallgrass Pony Express Pipeline, LLC (Pony Express) has announced a second open season to offer potential shippers another contracting option to make a commitment to a proposed extension and expansion of Pony Express’ system.

This open season offers new capacity and transportation service on a proposed extension of the Pony Express system beginning at a new origin near Platteville, Colorado (and potentially another origin near Lucerne, Colorado) and ending at the Buckingham point (together, the ‘Platteville extension’), as well as potential expanded capacity on Pony Express’ existing pipeline system (existing system expansion). Together, the Platteville extension and the existing system expansion are the ‘project’. The project will provide transportation service for petroleum meeting the condensate (API gravity between 47° and 57°) common stream criteria to be established by Pony Express.

This second open season results from a binding bid received by Pony Express during an earlier, and separate, open season conducted by Pony Express that commenced on 1 June 2017 and ended on 17 July 2017 (first open season) and resulted in approximately 30 000 bpd of binding commitments. The deadline for submitting bids in this open season is 15 August 2017, which may be extended by Pony Express in its sole discretion.

Prospective bidders may review the details of this open season after the execution of a confidentiality agreement. Parties that entered into a confidentiality agreement with Pony Express in the first open season do not need to execute a new confidentiality agreement to review the current open season materials.
