On 20 March, TransCanada Corp. (TransCanada) announced that it has recently filed a variance application with the National Energy Board to proceed with construction of the North Montney mainline (NMML) project in northeast British Columbia (BC).

First gas flows through Strohm’s pipeline in Germany
In the initial phase, the terminal will be used to import liquefied natural gas, using Strohm’s TCP, with the pipe being repurposed for liquid carbon dioxide transport at a later stage.
