World Pipelines,
Gazprom’s Environmental Management System (EMS) successfully passed recertification for compliance with the ISO 14001:2004 international standard. Recertification was carried out on the basis of the audit results by DNV GL, a major independent international certification body.
Gazprom's EMS provides for the comprehensive monitoring of the company's structural units and subsidiaries, as well as interaction with state environmental authorities and non-governmental organisations.
Compliance with the ISO 14001:2004 standard means that Gazprom's large-scale environmental activities fully meet the most stringent international requirements.
Recertification was necessary due to the expiration of the certificate for compliance with the ISO 14001:2004 international standard, obtained by Gazprom in 2011.
