PAA announces plans to expand Cactus Pipeline

World Pipelines,

Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. has announced plans to provide additional pumps to increase the takeaway capacity of the Cactus Pipeline in response to higher regional production forecasts and shipper demand. Installation of booster stations along the pipeline, which runs from McCamey to Gardendale (La Salle County), Texas, will result in an increase in throughput from approximately 250 000 bpd to approximately 330 000 bpd.

This expansion, in conjunction with the previously announced Eagle Ford Joint Venture Pipeline expansion, will allow PAA to move increased production volumes from the Permian Basin to Corpus Christi and other delivery points along the system. The Cactus Pipeline is expected to be in service in April 2015; the expansion will be completed in Q4 of 2015.

Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. is a publicly traded master limited partnership that owns and operates midstream energy infrastructure and provides logistics services for crude oil, natural gas liquids, natural gas and refined products. PAA owns an extensive network of pipeline transportation, terminalling, storage and gathering assets in key crude oil and NGL producing basins and transportation corridors and at major market hubs in the United States and Canada. On average, PAA handles over 3.9 million bpd of crude oil and NGL on its pipelines. PAA is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
