Wouri River Pipeline passes pressure tests
The company announced on 29 October, 2014, that the 400 mm pipeline under the Wouri River had been successfully laid. The company is now pleased to confirm that the hydraulic and pneumatic pressure tests on this pipeline have been completed satisfactorily.
The 678 m pipeline under the Wouri River connects the existing network to a new hub on the Bonaberi shore in Douala, Cameroon's major industrial city.
Gaz du Cameroun will now connect the three near term customers to the pipeline already laid in the Bonaberi area and the Company will announce when these customers are online.
