World Pipelines,
Cameron has announced the launch of the Scanner® 3100 and 2100 model flow computers: wireless, API-compliant flow computing for the oil and gas industry.
A significant part of this launch is the introduction of Cameron’s distributed network concept for total network solutions in flow measurement and process control.
While the installation-based cost savings of wireless technology are generally understood, the benefits of Cameron’s solution extend beyond installation costs by providing increased operation and maintenance efficiencies and enhanced data integrity through wired or wireless communications.
Scanner 3100 model
The Cameron Scanner 3100 model operates as a standalone two stream flow computer or as a network manager, capable of coalescing data from up to 22 flow streams.
Scanner 2100 model
The Cameron Scanner 2100 model can function as either a standalone flow computer or as a short-haul wireless node in a distributed scanner network, complementing the existing Scanner 2000 series computers.
Both units offer unique power autonomy with a built-in lithium battery that can act as a primary or back-up power supply. Both models can also be accessed and configured from a web-based interface, accessible from any tablet, smart phone, or computer.
Cameron is a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries.
