Entegra completes first run

World Pipelines,
Entegra LLP has recently announced that it has successfully completed its first mission with its latest platform. Entegra's 6 in. magnetic flux leakage/caliper combination tool was used to achieve first run success in a 3 mile Ethane pipeline near Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Pipeline owners are able to use this ILI technology to proactively detect, identify and quantify potential threats to the safe operation of a pipeline, including corrosion due to damaged coating and dents, and mechanical damage due to third-party intrusion.
Entegra's high resolution ILI tools provide a clear picture of the current condition of oil, gas, and chemical pipelines. The fleet employs a smart sampling schema and twice the number of magnetic flux leakage and caliper sensors in order to achieve nearly four times the data resolution, compared to similar technologies.
