World Pipelines,
Decarbonisation, energy efficiency and cost efficiency are among the key requirements on modern construction sites today.
With the HDD20-E, Streicher presents the world's first fully electric horizontal drilling rig in its performance class, setting new standards in trenchless pipeline construction.
The HDD20-E impresses with its compact design, a pullback load of 20 t and a fully electric direct drive. It rdemonstrates its strengths in applications with short lead times or construction site durations. The boost function can even temporarily increase the pullback load to 25 t - while significantly improving energy consumption.
The HDD-truck - consisting of HDD20-E drill rig, mixing truck with integrated power generation and low-bed trailer - is designed as a closed, autonomous system. For inner-city operations, emission-free operation via the public power grid is even possible.
Thanks to its fully electric design, the HDD20-E offers advantages over conventional systems: Lower CO2 and noise emissions, less wear and tear, minimised maintenance intervals and a significant contribution to resource conservation.
