Heat Trace Ltd receives innovation award
Heat Trace has been proud to announce that it was named winners of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the UK’s highest accolade for the business sector. The company won the award in the Innovation category.
The award recognises the company’s innovation and continuing development in the field of semi conductive polymer heating elements, or self regulating heating cables. Heat Trace Limited self regulating heating cables are now used across the glob for a myriad of different applications, encompassing many different industry sectors such as onshore, inshore and offshore oil and gas, petrochemical, food processing, power generation, railway and transportation, automotive, to name but a few. The company even have a residential product range called HeatSafe Cable.
Another celebration
As well as receiving the award, the company is also celebrating 40 years in the industry, another milestone for the company.

When the tanks are full, the liquefied carbon dioxide will be loaded onto a dedicated carrier from Royal Wagenborg and shipped to the INEOS Nini platform in the Danish North Sea. From there, it will be safely injected via pipeline into subsurface reservoirs approximately 1800 m beneath the seabed for permanent storage.
