Sulzer will bring its latest pump designs and coating technology to the Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia 2015, and industry experts from the company will also be involved with the discussion groups where both visitors and exhibitors can learn more about a wide range of current issues.

Sulzer will be on Booth No. 1609 and this year visitors will see the company’s corrosion resistant Sulzer’s HICoat® A24 Coating applied to a compressor rotor assembly in the form. This metallic-ceramic-polymer coating has been specifically formulated to provide extended service and prevent loss of efficiency.

Pumps Equipment has developed a single stage, radially split pump that offers the broadest performance range in the industry. Designed for heavy-duty applications in refineries, petrochemical plants, gas processing and offshore oil production, the overhung, horizontal, centerline mounted pump is ideal for high-head applications. In addition, the low flow variant of the pump uses a unique low-flow impeller diffuser design that provides gap-free coverage for improved performance.

Ron Adams, Global Portfolio Manager, Petroleum for Sulzer, is a member of the Pump Advisory Committee and will take part in Discussion Group 01: Monitoring Vibration and Other Critical Machine Conditions on 15 September as well as Discussion Group P11/Panel Session: Subsea Pumps and Drivers on 16 September. In addition, Bob Davis, Advanced Engineering Manager at Sulzer, will be involved in Discussion Group P08: Vertical Pump Problems and Solutions on 15 September.
