Turner & Townsend wins BP pipeline contract

Turner & Townsend has been chosen by BP to deliver quantity surveying and cost management services at its onshore facilities in Scotland. Work will take place on the Sullom Voe terminal (SVT) in Shetland and the Forties pipeline system (FPS) pipeline and terminals.

Turner & Townsend will support BP’s annual work programme with regards to both investment and maintenance. It will deliver improvements for managing spend and value for money across a number of identifiable areas – including independent estimating, cost engineering and assurance, quantity surveying, contract and supplier management, risk facilitation, and planning and scheduling.

Turner & Townsend provides programme management, project controls, contract services, quantity surveying and consulting in all segments of BP’s business.

Notable current and recent BP assignments for Turner & Townsend include: projects on the North Slope (Alaska), BP’s pipelines and logistics programme (USA), Quad 204 and Clair Ridge (UK), Khazzan (Oman), the Tangguh Expansion Project (Indonesia) and the terminals upgrade programme (Mozambique).
