Valerus Field Solutions – member of the SNC-Lavalin Group and one of the world's leading providers of oil and gas handling services and equipment – has been awarded a contract from Promisol to provide engineering, procurement and construction of a gas treatment and booster station in Córdoba, Colombia.
The expansion gas station, including 8400 hp of compression, will deliver treated gas to a gas pipeline in Colombia. Valerus has been contracted to manage all aspects of the project, from designing complete expansion of the facility – including civil, mechanical and electrical engineering – to supervising construction and commissioning on site.
"Valerus and SNC-Lavalin’s deep experience in Latin America, coupled with our proven ability to deliver quality turnkey solutions for our clients, makes this contract a natural fit," said Steve Gill, CEO of Valerus. "We have a large presence in the region, with oil and gas offices and projects in Colombia, Peru and Trinidad and Tobago. Our team looks forward to partnering with Promisol to deliver the expansion project safely and on schedule."
