Celeros Flow Technology (Celeros FT) has announced the signing of a Corporate Procurement Agreement (CPA) with Aramco, marking a key milestone in the two companies’ strategic partnership, which began in the 1950s, and reinforcing a shared commitment to localisation, industrial development, and long-term value creation in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

Celeros Flow Technology signs strategic corporate procurement agreement with Aramco

The CPA establishes a long-term framework to support Aramco’s existing operations and future projects, with a strong focus on the local manufacturing of key pumps and midstream pipeline solutions that are essential for a safe, reliable, and efficient energy infrastructure across the Kingdom.

A central element of the agreement is the expansion of local manufacturing capabilities for key pumps from the ClydeUnion Pumps, Plenty, and S&N Pumps brands and midstream flow solutions from the M&J Valve, Copes Vulcan, and GD Engineering brands, which will help support Aramco’s pipeline networks, terminals, and processing facilities. These solutions play an important role in ensuring operational continuity, asset integrity, and efficiency across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

By strengthening in-Kingdom manufacturing, assembly, testing, and aftermarket support, the partnership aims to enhance supply chain resilience, reduce lead times, and support Aramco’s long-term operational requirements for pipeline and fluid handling systems.

Aligned with Vision 2030’s goal to build a diversified, knowledge-based economy, the CPA emphasises technology transfer, capability development, and workforce localisation. Celeros FT seeks to invest in the professional development of Saudi engineers, technicians, and specialists through structured training and hands-on manufacturing and service programmes, enabling the transfer of global expertise into the Kingdom.

These initiatives are expected to contribute to sustainable job creation while strengthening local technical capabilities in advanced pump manufacturing and midstream engineering solutions.

The agreement supports the expansion of local content in line with Saudi Aramco’s In-Kingdom Total Value Add (iktva) programme. Celeros FT will continue to localise manufacturing, fabrication, testing, and lifecycle services, contributing to Saudi Arabia’s industrial self-sufficiency and supporting the Kingdom’s broader manufacturing and export ambitions.

Beyond oil and gas and midstream pipeline applications, the CPA is aimed at supporting expanded collaboration across petrochemicals, mining, power generation, and water infrastructure, all key pillars of Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification strategy.

Localised manufacturing and engineering expertise in key pumps and flow control systems are anticipated to contribute to the safe, reliable, and efficient development of future programmes.

As part of its regional growth strategy, Celeros FT Saudi Arabia is envisioned to become a hub for the export of manufactured pumps and midstream solutions to the GCC and neighbouring countries. This initiative supports Vision 2030’s objective to position Saudi Arabia as a regional industrial and logistics hub, while expanding the Kingdom’s role in global energy supply chains.

The CPA signing reflects a shared commitment by Aramco and Celeros FT to advance industrial localisation, enable technology leadership, and support sustainable economic growth. Through manufacturing excellence, talent development, and sector diversification, the partnership aims to reinforce both organisations’ support for Saudi Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s long-term prosperity.
