Qapqa secures subcontract for ADNOC’s Hail & Gasha Development Project

Qapqa has announced that it has been awarded a contract by Techno Engineering Services for the prestigious Hail & Gasha Development Project, led by ADNOC.
Under this agreement, Qapqa will supply advanced automatic welding technology for the construction of a 135 km, heavy-walled 12 in. pipeline. The deployment will include our advanced welding systems, backed by a dedicated team of technical experts and highly skilled welding professionals on-site.
This milestone reinforces Qapqa’s position as a trusted provider of high-performance welding solutions for complex energy infrastructure projects. It also highlights our continued commitment to engineering excellence and innovation in the region’s pipeline construction sector.
The Hail and Ghasha development project combine innovative decarbonisation technologies into one integrated solution. The project will capture 1.5 million tpy of CO2, while low-carbon hydrogen is produced that can replace fuel gas and further reduce emissions. The project will also leverage clean power from nuclear and renewable sources from the grid.
