Tenova and Southern Steel Sheet Co. Ltd. (SSSC) – a joint venture of Vietnam Steel Corporation and foreign partners Sumitomo Corporation (Japan) and FIW Steel Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) – recently signed a contract for the upgrade of the Colour Coating Line.
Tenova and Southern Steel Sheet Co. Ltd. (SSSC) – a joint-venture of Vietnam Steel Corporation and foreign partners Sumitomo Corporation (Japan) and FIW Steel Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) – recently signed a contract for the upgrade of the Colour Coating Line, in operation since 2014, with the aim to increase the annual production of the line and satisfy the request of high quality coated coils from the international and domestic market.
During the last four years, in addition to the Colour Coating Line, Tenova supplied to SSSC a Continuous Galvanising Line, followed by several orders for spare parts, technological assistance and supervision services. The total contracts awarded by SSSC to Tenova are currently ten and demonstrate the long-lasting co-operation between the two companies.
The upgrade of the Colour Coating Line consists of two bake oven with rotary thermal oxidiser and four roll coater, of which one is horizontal. The new equipped Colour Coating Line will produce up to 100 000 tpy.
