NEL hosts flow measurement programme at conference

The International North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop will be held this year at St Andrews, Scotland on 25 - 28 October 2016. In its thirty fourth year, the three day workshop is the world’s premier flowmetering event, and has been attended previously by more than 300 delegates from 30 different countries.

The event presents a unique opportunity for the oil and gas industry to share experiences relating to cost reduction and operational efficiency best practice. New for this year’s event is the Young Engineer session, which will give a platform for young engineers to present to established oil and gas industry experts on new projects or research.

Hosted by NEL, the three day programme covers a wide variety of topics, sharing real-world experiences of leading experts, highlighting innovative technologies and methodologies that optimise resources and minimise cost. The Technical Workshop topics include oil flow, multiphase flow, allocation, calibration, gas flow and wet gas flow.
