World Pipelines,
Leading global deck machinery specialist, ACE Winches is committed to supporting young people working in the oil and gas sector by encouraging them to develop their technical skills. Working closely with ITCA Training, ACE Winches was delighted to donate a range of hydraulic pumps to the organisation, where the equipment will be used for training purposes.
“The training experience is boosted when apprentices can work with the same or similar equipment as found in their daily workplace, stated June Jones, Managing Director of ITCA Training. “It is vital we have training which is relevant and keeps up to date with modern technology and we appreciate the ongoing support and loyalty we receive from ACE Winches.”
Both organisations have a long history of working together and ACE Winches continues to support ITCA Training in its provision of vocational and academic training, and its modern apprenticeship programme.
Lisa McPherson, HR Director ACE Winches welcomed June Jones, Managing Director and Graeme Johnston, Workshop Engineering Assessor at ITCA to ACE Winches facilities in Turriff. The visit provided an opportunity for June Jones and Graeme Johnston to tour the facilities and spend some time with a few members of the ACE Winches apprenticeship scheme.
