Columbia Midstream named 2015 Northeast Oil and Gas Awards Midstream Company of the Year
Columbia Midstream Group has been named the 2015 Northeast Oil and Gas Awards Midstream Company of the Year. The award was announced on 25 March, 2015, at the Awards Gala Dinner in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The Northeast Oil and Gas Awards serve as a platform for the oil and gas industry to demonstrate and celebrate advances made in the key areas of environmental stewardship, efficiency, innovation, corporate social responsibility and health and safety. The finalists were judged by an extensive and independent group of oil and gas experts from various disciplines in the industry.
Chuck Minshew, Director of Operations for Columbia Midstream, together with members of the Columbia Midstream leadership team, accepted the award. Minshew noted that being awarded Midstream Company of the Year is a significant honour, and is a testament to the Columbia Midstream team's commitment to partnering with producers to deliver customer-focused solutions in a responsible manner that protects the environment and the communities in which we operate.
“At Columbia, we have been a part of the communities in the region for more than a century,” said Minshew. “We greatly appreciate the opportunity to extend our service offerings to include midstream services, through which we are able to further support the needs of the industry as well as the economic development of the Appalachian Basin.”
