EnerMech invests in future engineers with IMechE approval

EnerMech, a provider of mechanical engineering services, is now able to mentor the next generation of chartered and incorporated engineers after certification from Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

IMechE has allowed the EnerMech Academy to organise and conduct a monitored professional development scheme (MPDS) in order to encourage the progression of young engineers.

Commitment to training and developing young engineers

Companies that adopt the MPDS make a commitment to train and allow for the development of young engineers who have the potential to achieve professional registration as a chartered or incorporated engineer.

According to the MPDS, more experienced EnerMech engineers mentor their younger colleagues, offering support whilst working through the incorporated and chartered engineer process.

Roy Begg, Cranes and Lifting Account Manager, has recently been accredited as an Incorporated Engineer and will now mentor other candidates as he works towards achieving his Chartership.
