Zagorsk Pipe Plant has hosted a ceremony to mark the production start of large diameter pipes for Gazprom. Its first shipment of large diameter pipe is planned to be delivered to Gazprom in June 2017.
DNV GL has launched a new recommended practice that is dedicated to the interaction of the pipeline and soil, DNVGL-RP-F114 ‘Pipe-soil interaction for submarine pipelines’.
A letter of intent has been signed by authorities in Malta and Sicily, which will “draft the way forward for this [pipeline] project.”
