CRC-Evans Pipeline International, Inc. celebrated the official grand opening of its new Offshore Division Headquarters in Alness, Scotland on the morning of Tuesday, 28th January.

Guests included CRC-Evans senior staff members, and all local CRC-Evans Offshore employees.

Jim Cannon, President of STANLEY Oil and Gas, was in attendance along with honored guest, Fergus Ewing, Scottish Government’s Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism, who unveiled a commemorative plaque at the grand opening ceremony, to be mounted by the building’s front door.

Recognising offshore growth

“We are celebrating so much more than just a new building for the CRC-Evans Offshore Division; this event recognises our entire CRC-Evans team, and their dedication to the industry,” said Cannon.

“This signifies our growth within the Offshore Division, and is a time to acknowledge every person, every joint welded and coated by our teams in projects across the globe that have made this day possible.”

Cannon went on to say that, even though the focus of the grand opening should be the team and the people out in the field, the new building is something to celebrate, because it “befits the brand”.

Ewing said: “This is a proud moment for the Highlands today, and we are thrilled to be able to support CRC-Evans’ future progress in oil and gas pipelines development throughout the North Sea and Shetlands area…Scotland has and continues to value its partnership with CRC-Evans and the US.”

The new, two-story building boasts four wings and a customised branded design that truly showcases CRC-Evans’ well-established reputation for innovation and excellence. Product samples and demonstrations are available throughout the space, as well as video monitors showing presentations on notable projects and the full scope of CRC-Evans’ capabilities.

The new facility is located at 3, Dail Nan Rocas, Teaninich Industrial Estate, Alness, Ross-shire V17 0PH.
