Keystone XL: the final push

With regards to the Keystone XL pipeline project, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has stated: "Mr Obama has indicated to me he will make that decision based on what he believes are the best interests of the United States." Obama is expected to reject the pipeline project due to environmental concerns.
After seven years of reviews and debates, President Obama is said to finally deny TransCanada’s pipeline a permit over the Labour Day weekend.
