CER announces appointment of Secretary of the Commission

The Canada Energy Regulator (the Regulator) has announced that Jean-Denis Charlebois has accepted the position of Secretary of the Commission for one-year period.
Mr. Charlebois joined the Regulator in 2006 and has held positions of increasing levels of leadership. As a Director, he led various teams focused on public hearings, tolls and tariff matters and regulatory policy. Prior to his newly accepted position, Mr. Charlebois was a Professional Leader and Chief Economist of the CER. Mr. Charlebois holds a Masters of Economics from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from HEC Montréal and is a CFA Charterholder.
The CER welcomes Mr. Charlebois to his new position as Secretary of the Commission.

First gas flows through Strohm’s pipeline in Germany
In the initial phase, the terminal will be used to import liquefied natural gas, using Strohm’s TCP, with the pipe being repurposed for liquid carbon dioxide transport at a later stage.
