Earlier this month, the CEO of Petróleos Mexicanos, Octavio Romero Oropeza, presented the results, progress and future goals of the Joint Plan to Fight Fuel Theft to the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador. In one year, this plan achieved a reduction of 91% in the crime of fuel theft, with total savings of 56 billion pesos on the pipeline system and 1.9 million pesos in liquefied gas.
