Cutech and Global Technology Centre become partners

Multi-national company Cutech and TWI Global Technology Centre (GTC), both based in Singapore, have recently formalised their growing relationship by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to focus on advanced inspection services.

Cutech, whose headquarters are in Singapore, has branches in various parts of the globe, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Malaysia and Indonesia, and provides inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) services, IT and software consultancy services and engineering products to industrial, commercial and government clients in the marine, oil and gas, petrochemical, power and process sectors.

TWI GTC is part of TWI's extensive network of overseas subsidiaries which serve to respond to local market demand and assist companies of all sizes to maximise their potential. TWI GTC provides both conventional solutions and more innovative approaches to help solve technology based and operational challenges. In addition, clients can benefit from exposure to a wide range of programmes, centres and services, and opportunities to meet and collaborate with new partners, including TWI Industrial Member companies, via the TWI Innovation Network.

In coming together as partners, Cutech and TWI GTC will initially pool their expertise and experience in relation to the use of advanced NDT solutions and robotic systems for the inspection of pipelines, heat-exchangers, storage tanks and other engineering assets. This will encompass opportunity assessment and marketing scanning, research and development (R&D) projects leading to commercialisation of new products and processes, and delivery of client-tailored, advanced inspection services.
