Swift opens branch in Eastern Europe
Swift Worldwide Resources, the premier supplier of manpower resources to the oil and gas industry, has expanded its global reach by opening a new office in the country of Georgia. Located in the Old Tbilisi district, this new office will support Swift Engineering (Azerbaijan) Ltd. by providing project management services in the installation, upgrades and inspections of the South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion.
"Georgia's pipeline system is instrumental to the success of the oil and gas industry in the Caucasus region," said Swift Chief Executive Officer Tobias Read. "At Swift, we have a commitment to do 'whatever it takes, wherever it takes us' for our clients, and we're proud to add our presence and contributions to the country's economic developments."
Operation Manager Khalida Muradova will leverage 13 years' experience to lead the branch, returning to the "Swiftie" family after working for the company from 2001–2003. The branch is expected to contribute over US$ 20 million to the Georgian economy over the first four years.
