New logistics centre for oil and gas pipeline services provider

Pipeline inspection and integrity services provider ROSEN has opened its new logistics centre in Lingen, Germany. The 2000 m2 building, incorporating the latest automated storage and retrieval technologies, now houses the company’s warehouse and logistics department.

State-of-the-art infrastructure including a Lean-Lift® automated storage system with a capacity for 3300 different articles ensure an optimised workflow and timely delivery to wherever components and spare parts are needed, all around the globe.

The investment confirms the commitment ROSEN has to being innovation leader in the industry. Company Founder and President Hermann Rosen used the inauguration ceremony of the new building to re-emphasise the “Can Do” philosophy embedded in the company values and stated: “This new logistics centre further strengthens the importance of our Lingen location and is proof that we want to and will use our potential for further growth in the future”.

Friedrich Hecker, CEO of the ROSEN Group since the beginning of this year, added that the customer benefit must be at the core of all company activities. Providing optimal working conditions for highly motivated staff was a driving factor for the conceptual design of this new logistics centre in Germany.

The new logistics centre forms part of the ROSEN facilities in Lingen, including research and development, tool manufacturing and it’s own polyurethane plant.

The company, with a global workforce of over 2000 employees, is committed to innovation, providing an unprecedented range of pipeline inspection, integrity and data management products and services for the oil and gas industry.
