TEEMCO wins at the 2014 Oil & Gas Awards

World Pipelines,

TEEMCO, an Oklahoma based environmental engineering firm, won three awards at the 2014 Oil & Gas Awards. The Oil & Gas Awards recognise the outstanding achievements made within the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry, focusing on health and safety, environmental engineering and corporate social responsibility. An independent panel of 60 judges selected winners for each of the awards.

TEEMCO won Consultancy of the Year at the Rocky Mountain Award Gala in Denver, which makes them back-to-back winners of the award having won it in 2013. TEEMCO also took home the New Technology Development of the Year award at the Gulf Coast in Houston and Northeast Award Gala in Pittsburgh. These make a total of six national Oil & Gas awards in the past three years.

The day preceding each award ceremony consisted of a Conference for Excellence, which enabled participants to learn the industry’s developments and to network with peers. A host of industry leaders made presentations at the conference about strategic and operational business insights that benefit the industry as a whole. Greg Lorson, President and CEO of TEEMCO, presented the conference’s Market Update and also sat on a panel to discuss the current issues facing environmental protection, regulation and compliance.

“We have become one of the nation’s leading environmental engineering firms and the clear leader in the oil and gas space because of TEEMCO’s dedicated staff and our culture of excellence,” said Lorson. “I am humbled and gratified for our company to be recognized again by the industry at the Oil & Gas Awards.”

Previously, TEEMCO won the 2012 Environmental Initiative of the Year Award. In 2013, TEEMCO won the Corporate & Social Responsibility, and the Consultancy of the Year awards.

In addition to receiving awards, Lorson presented the TEEMCO Exploration & Production Company of the Year Award to Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, which is one of the most coveted awards of the night.
