Research into Iran’s potential pipeline to Oman

Alireza Kameli – the Head of the National Iranian Gas Export Company (NIGEC) – declared that two domestic gas companies have signed contracts to examine and research the construction of a pipeline intended to export gas to Oman.
The Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) were tasked with conducting studies on the offshore section of the pipeline, while Pars Consulting Engineers Co. will undertake the research on the onshore section.
“The construction of the gas export pipeline from Iran to Oman will be carried out by the IOEC,” Rahim Tabrizi, a senior official with the IOEC stated.
Iran will export 28 million m3/d of gas to Oman for 15 years.
