Enbridge announces closing of CAN$ 275 million share offering

Enbridge Inc. has announced that it has closed its previously announced public offering of Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares, Series 15 by a syndicate of underwriters led by TD Securities, CIBC World Markets, RBC Capital Markets and Scotiabank. Enbridge issued 11 million Series 15 Preferred Shares for gross proceeds of CAN$ 275 million. The Series 15 Preferred Shares began trading on the TSX on 23 September under the symbol ENB.PF.G. Proceeds will be used to partially fund capital projects, to reduce existing indebtedness and for other general corporate purposes of the corporation and its affiliates.
