TC PipeLines announces 4Q16 results

TC PipeLines, LP (TCP) has recently announced that the board of directors of TC PipeLines GP, Inc. – its general partner – declared TCP’s 4Q16 cash distribution of US$0.94 per common unit.
The distribution remains unchanged from the 3Q16 distribution and represents a 6% increase from the US$0.89 per common unit distribution paid in 4Q15.
This cash distribution is the 71st consecutive quarterly distribution paid by TCP. It is payable on 14 February 2017 to unitholders of record at the close of business on 2 February.
TCP is a master limited partnership with interests in seven federally regulated US interstate natural gas pipelines, which serve markets in the western, midwestern and eastern US. The partnership is managed by its general partner, TC PipeLines GP, Inc., a subsidiary of TransCanada Corporation.
