KazTransOil meets with Sino-Pipeline International to discuss Kenkiyak-Kumkol oil pipeline

Negotiations took place in Astana between the leadership of KazTransOil JSC and the Chinese company Sino-Pipeline International (SPI), during which current and prospective areas of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
Arman Kassenov, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of KazTransOil JSC, and Jin Qinggo, CEO of SPI, reviewed the progress of joint projects as well as issues related to the operator activities of KazTransOil JSC.
Following the meeting, a protocol was signed to agree on a package of works for the operation and maintenance of the Kenkiyak-Kumkol main oil pipeline by Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP.
Special attention was paid to improving the efficiency of oil transportation and developing infrastructure within the Kazakhstan-China route. The parties confirmed their interest in further developing partnership relations based on efficiency and mutual benefit.
