The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI) proudly announce their collaboration to host the next three International Pipeline Conferences (IPC) to be held in 2024, 2026 and 2028.
Since 1996, the IPC has become a premier platform for fostering collaboration and knowledge transfer featuring a comprehensive programme encompassing technical presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
The IPC is a biennial event for industry experts, researchers, practitioners, and leaders from around the world to share the latest advancements, challenges, and best practices in the field of pipeline engineering and technology. Renowned experts and thought leaders present their insights, experiences, and research findings in a rich environment for learning and exchange that covers a wide array of topics including pipeline design, integrity, materials, corrosion, inspection, construction, operation, and energy transition.
As ASME and PRCI combine their strengths, IPC 2024 is expected to be a landmark event empowering professionals to navigate the evolving landscape of pipeline engineering and technology and is scheduled for 23 – 27 September, 2024, in Calgary (Canada).
“We are excited to collaborate with PRCI to host the International Pipeline Conference and bring together the best minds in pipeline engineering and technology to address the industry’s most pressing challenges and opportunities,” said Tim Graves, Managing Director of Technical Conferences at ASME. “By sharing our strengths, we aim to create a dynamic platform that fuels innovation and drives the advancement of pipeline infrastructure globally.”
Internationally renowned in their respective domains, ASME and PRCI bring together shared goals of promoting innovation, safety, and sustainability in the pipeline industry. This collaboration is a significant step towards leveraging the collective expertise and resources of two leading organisations to further the growth of the sector.
“We believe that this relationship between ASME and PRCI will greatly enhance the value and impact of IPC,” noted Cliff Johnson, President of PRCI. “Pooling our resources and expertise will lead to a more comprehensive event that addresses the diverse needs of the industry and supports the development of a safer, more efficient, and more environmentally responsible pipeline system.”
The conference offers unmatched opportunities for learning, collaboration, and networking to promote innovation and excellence in the global pipeline industry.
